As it is 1692, members of the Salem community are experiencing mass hysteria over claims of witchcraft. The town is being torn apart due to divisive assertions and mounting accusations that threaten the future of the community. As delegates, you must navigate a foreboding future, and decide the fate of the accused, while maintaining Salem's reputation. Some townspeople demand immediate justice, some call for executions, and others claim there is no basis for the accusations. The pressure is growing. If you fail to act decisively, the future of Salem is not guaranteed… The fate of the town rests in your hands!
About the Chairs
Kenneth Kweku, 11th Grade, He/Him
Hi! My name is Kenneth, and I am excited to be chairing the Salem Witch Trials committee. I have been doing MUN for four years and have learned a lot during that time. I have found fun in participating in and contributing to various committees in the past, and I hope that our committee will be one to remember—the Salem Witch Trials have a lot of potential for some crazy moments, so get excited! Outside of MUN, I enjoy running, gaming, math, and doing anything athletics-related. I am open for contact if you have any questions. Good luck and see you in committee!

Talia Hird, 11th Grade
Hi! I’m Talia, and I’m thrilled to be serving as a co-chair for the Salem Witch Trials committee at MASMUNC IV! Outside of Model UN, I enjoy playing lacrosse and participating in theater productions. I have been a part of Model UN since my freshman year, and I’ve loved every minute of it, particularly getting to work with such an amazing team. The Salem Witch Trials have fascinated me since middle school, and I can’t wait for this committee! Good luck, and see you at the conference!
