About the Chairs
Leon Samuels, 10th Grade
Hello Delegates, I’m Leon, and I am a Sophomore at Masters. I’m excited to be one of your chairs for MASMUNC this year. I joined MUN at Masters last fall, but my MUN experience began in my middle school, where I went on an overnight conference to William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Virginia. The trip was not only fun, but it inspired me to continue MUN out of middle school. I am so excited to meet all of you and watch you work with each other on many controversial issues.
Andrew Lopez, 12th Grade
Hello delegates. My name is Andrew Lopez and I am honored to serve as a chair for the NBA committee this year. I've been involved with MUN for a number of years but joined my current schools team my junior year following a sophomore year transfer. I believe that MUN is a great way to build proficiency in research, public speaking and thinking on your feet. I have been a fan of basketball for years and am a fan of the NY Knicks. I hope that this will be a fun and enjoyable conference for all delegates regardless of prior sports knowledge.
