Welcome, delegates, to the Disarmament and International Security Committee General Assembly! This committee will address a growing concern for the maintenance of global peace and security: the use of artificial intelligence in the modern military landscape. DISEC must convene to address both the benefits and concerns regarding the use of artificial intelligence in military and cybersecurity settings while preventing the escalation of future conflicts.

Chris Woglom, 12th Grade
Hello everyone! My name is Christopher Woglom and I'm currently a senior at Masters. I joined Model UN last year and I'm super excited to co-chair this year's DISEC General Assembly. I'm hoping this year's committee will bring some interesting discussions to the table regarding the militaristic use of artificial intelligence on the international stage. I can't wait to meet everyone!

Hello, delegates! My name is Lucy Dahl and I will be one of your chairs for the DISEC committee. This is my first year in MUN at Masters, but will be my fourth year of MUN overall! I'm excited for this year's discussions on AI in the world of cybersecurity and I cannot wait to meet you all!
