SECRETARIAT
Secretary-General: Noah Adler
Hello everyone! My name is Noah Adler, and I’m honored to serve as one of this year’s Secretary-Generals for MASMUNC. When I first joined Model UN as a freshman, I walked into my first conference with plenty of confidence but very little idea of what I was doing. Since then, MUN has challenged me to think more critically, speak more effectively, and collaborate with people from all different backgrounds. It has become one of the most meaningful parts of my experience at Masters. Outside of MUN, I spend much of my time involved in politics and advocacy, keeping up with current events, talking with friends, or taking naps. My hope for MASMUNC is that every delegate leaves having learned something new, gained confidence in their abilities, and made connections with people they may never have met otherwise. Our staff has worked tirelessly to create a conference that is both challenging and rewarding, and I am incredibly excited to welcome you all this December. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at noah.adler@mastersny.org. I look forward to meeting all of you and seeing the creativity, passion, and diplomacy you bring to MASMUNC V!

Secretary General: Talia Hird

Hi everyone! My name is Talia Hird, and I’m thrilled to be serving as a Secretary-General for MASMUNC this year! I joined Model UN as a freshman, and I had no idea what I was doing. But since then I have grown so much and built friendships and memories that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Outside of Model UN, I enjoy performing in Masters’s various productions, watching Gossip Girl or Grey's Anatomy, and hanging out with my friends. As a Secretary-General, I hope that your experience at MASMUNC will be full of productive debate, meeting new people, and having fun! Everyone has put their heart and soul into making this conference happen, and I can’t wait to see everyone come together in December. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to me at Talia.Hird@mastersny.org. I am looking forward to seeing you all in December!
Director-General: Maria Viniegra
Hello everyone! My name is Maria Viniegra and I am thrilled to be serving as your Director-General for MASMUNC V. I joined the team last year but Model UN has been a part of my life for over six years, and I have found it to be my favorite activity as a Masters student. Last MASMUNC I chaired the UNHCR committee and it has been my most rewarding experience in Model UN. I hope everyone involved in this conference finds the experience as rewarding as I did. I am incredibly excited to meet all of you this coming MASMUNC and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate in reaching out to me at maria.viniegra@mastersny.org.

Faculty Advisor: Brittany Farrar
Salvete, delegates! Though the majority of my time at Masters is spent teaching Latin to 6th graders, I’m so lucky to also be working with the Masters Model UN team this year, and I can’t wait for you to experience the conference we’ve put together this winter. We’ve designed MASMUNC III to appeal to delegates of different skill levels and interests, so we know whoever you are and wherever you’ve been, we’re sure you’ll find something you’re passionate about and someone to connect with here in Dobbs Ferry! Please feel free to reach out to me regarding optional pre-conference trainings offered by our team, commuting to our conference on public transit, and dietary restrictions and allergies. We can’t wait to meet you on December 7th!
