Severance

wmremove-transformed_edited_edited.jpg

Delegates of MASMUNC IV, Lumon Industries welcomes you! You  The innies of the Macrodata Refinement Division have ruined the concept and effective implementation of severance within the workforce. They have gone into their outies lives, effectively going against the core principles Lumon strives to maintain and use to guide their corporation. Your task as a committee is to figure out where to go from here. The Innies have aligned themselves to currently be against the company and want their freedom, while higher-ups in Lumon want to minimise the spread of these anti-severance ideas. Decisions made within these walls will determine the future trajectory of Lumon, and more generally opinions and possible implementation of Severance in the world and the fate of those within. The committee will start at the beginning of the Macrodat Uprising, in season 1 episode 9. Delegates are highly encouraged to become familiar with Severance and watch the show to gather information and ideas to tackle this issue

About the Chairs

Lena Paull, 11th Grade

Hi all! My name is Lena and I have been a member of Masters Model UN since eighth grade. I am so excited to be one of your chairs for the severance committee! My love for MUN started when I was a delegate myself in the first ever MasMUNC, where I was Aphrodite in a Trojan War Committee. It was one of my best Model UN experiences and made me want to continue with it. Aside from doing Model UN, I love volleyball, lacrosse, ceramics, and reading. I am so excited for MasMUNC IV and to see all of the things everyone is going to do in their committee. I am ecstatic to see all of the amazing things that people are going to do in Severance! Good luck and I cannot wait to see you all!

Alex Rogovin, 11th Grade

Hello. My name is Alex Rogovin, and I am honored to be your co-chair for the Severance Board of Directors. I enjoy creative writing, art, and tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer 40,000 when not doing MUN. I am fairly new to MUN, and this is my first MASMUNC. I enjoy the creative aspects of planning the conference, and I am so excited for the Severance committee. I can’t wait to see the direction you all take our committee in MASMUNC IV. I wish you all the best of luck and hope you all have fun as the leadership of Lumon Industries.
