THE SHAKESPEARE MULTIVERSE

IMG_6218.JPG

Have you ever wondered what would happen if Puck and Mercutio had a conversation? What would Julius Caesar have to say about Macbeth? Imagine a crisis committee where the worlds of William Shakespeare's plays met and collided with the complexities of global diplomacy. In this committee, the Bard’s most iconic characters from comedies, tragedies, and histories will gather to discuss prevalent Elizabethan social issues, aided by their experiences and personalities from their plays. We are confident that lively debate, clownery, seizing of the throne, and dueling will arise!

About the Chairs

Hello! My name is Emerson Riter, and I'm a junior at Masters. I've been involved with MUN since my freshman year and I am so excited to be working on Shakespeare Multiverse. Outside of Model UN, I participate in a lot of theater (as you may be able to tell by my committee choice), and enjoy reading, writing, and playing guitar. I love indie folk and classic rock, my favorite TV show is Ted Lasso, and my favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean. MUN is such an amazing place to express yourself and learn valuable skills, and we are so excited to have you with us in the Shakespeare Multiverse!

Hi! I'm Skye, and I am very excited to be a part of MASMUNC III and even more so to be helping run the Shakespeare Multiverse committee! I am currently a senior at Masters, where I have been able to grow my passion for all things Model UN. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends and my dog, listening to music, baking, and I love theater. I am very excited to help make this Shakespeare committee come to life, and I am hopeful it will be a fun and valuable experience for all. I can't wait to see some lively debate! Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have at skye.pearlman@mastersny.org.
