Hunger Games:
The Gamemakers

This committee is going to be an immersive Hunger Games creation simulation, with all different types of gamemakers and district representation around the table. It is set before Katniss’s Games, the 37th edition, and is separate from any prior knowledge or background available online, as you, the delegates, will be building it from scratch. You are working as Capitol citizens, but as the games are fast approaching so are the rise of district tensions. You must work quickly and together to handle both the organization of Panem's largest annual event while smothering any rebellious ideas. Rumor has it a storm is coming...
About the Chairs
Clio Foley, 12th Grade, She/Her
Hello everyone! My name is Clio, and I am ecstatic to be a part of MASMUNC '25 and, of course, a co-chair for this Hunger Games Committee! I’ve gone to my fair share of conferences, and I can attest that this is by far one of the most organized and memorable ones out there. This conference holds a particularly special place in my heart, as I made my “MUN debut” at MASMUNC in the fall of 2022. So, for all the newer delegates, I can assure you that this conference is one hundred percent beginner-friendly. Now, a little bit about me… I am currently a senior, and my interests outside of MUN include playing the piano, lacrosse, painting, karate, and reading! Some of my favorite books from this past year have been Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese and Dawn by Octavia Butler -- I recommend them both! I cannot wait to see the creativity each delegate will bring to this committee, and I hope/know you will all have as much fun with MASMUNC as I always do! And, of course, may the odds be ever in your favor!

Ginger Yancovich, 12th Grade (She/Her)
Hello! My name is Ginger, I am in 12th grade, and I am super excited to be one of the co-chairs for our middle school Hunger Games committee this year! Model UN has been a big part of my life since 8th grade, and this year will be my fourth working with the middle school team. It has been a very rewarding experience, and seeing each student grow into a confident delegate inspires me both in and outside of committee. Outside of Model UN, I love painting, reading, and playing volleyball. In our committee this year I'm looking forward to watching everyone's creative plans and secret motives come together while creating an entirely new Hunger Games. I'm excited to see everyone this year for MASMUNC IV; if you have any questions please feel free to reach out!
