Hello delegates, and welcome to the United Nations Security Council at MASMUNC IV! We are so excited to be tackeling two urgent global crises: the ongoing civil war in Myanmar and the escalating Venezuela and United States conflict. Throughout this committee, you will represent your assigned countries to debate, negotiate, and craft creative solutions that uphold peace, protect human rights, and ensure global stability.
About the Chairs
Mason Dwek, 12th Grade
Hello! My name is Mason and I am thrilled to be part of the UNSC committee. Outside from Model UN, I really enjoy talking politics, working on campaigns, and swimming. I have been doing Model UN since 2023. MASMUNC is very special to me as it was my first conference in my MUN career. MUN committees gave me, and I hope yourselves the skills to negotiate and simulate how to solve real world problems. I cant wait to see how your abilities grow throughout the committee. Good luck!

Angus McCallum, 9th Grade
Hello everybody, my name is Angus, and I am thrilled to be one of your chairs for the UNSC committee. Outside of MUN, I love to play sports, especially lacrosse. I have been part of the MUN program at Masters since the 6th grade. I am a freshman now and am excited for my first year on the high school team. Last year was my first time chairing at MasMUNC, and it was an awesome experience. I am so excited for MasMUNC this year and can’t wait to see you all in person this December.
